Want to join me in protecting the unhoused from COVID-19?
I'm raising money to help those facing the coronavirus threat amidst homelessness - please click on the Donate button (a GoFundMe page has been establish for the COVID-19 Relief for the Unhoused).
A sewist-entrepreneur in each of the shelters in St. Louis will be provided with a sewing machine, a kit, and fabric to make cloth facemasks for the residents and staff in their respective shelters and also supply to local hospitals during this time of pandemic emergency.
Main supplies donated with these funds are:
Sewing machine, sewers kit, fabric, and elastic for face masks
Other Supplies provided to shelters based on their need are:
Hand Soaps for frequent hand washing
Non-touch forehead thermometers for taking temperatures of residents and staff to screen for coronavirus.
COVID-19 relief for the unhoused is a project of Nano Lending (a 501c3 organization) that helps entrepreneurs facing homelessness to start their own business by giving small funds for equipment or materials as a pay-it-forward loan, no interest, no terms and to pay it to another entrepreneur in the community once they are successful.
Thanks in advance for your contribution which saves the lives of many in our community during these difficult times.
